Need a break? Want to get away from it all? Need to re-charge your batteries? If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this is the place for you! Our farm cottages are available for short breaks (minimum 2 nights). Walking country with spectacular scenery, and picturesque villages is just minutes away from Cowldyke farm. 	Come and enjoy The North York Moors - made famous by television series such as "All Creatures Great and Small", and "Heartbeat". Stunning "Dales" and open moors scenery, with picturesque villages. Great for walking, or just sight seeing. Take a drive through nearby forestry. For the more energetic, there are lots of forest trails to explore.
We also have our own farm walk right on our doorstep which includes a wildlife pond, an otter "holt", and fishing on a private stretch of three quarters of a mile of the river Dove. We offer you a comfortable and homely base with many attractions just a short ride away, but you can of course come here and do absolutely nothing.  We don't mind! Just imagine the peace and tranquility of your own cosy cottage, with a log fire and a night sky full of stars,  within easy reach of village pubs and restaurants for that romantic dinner for two.

Cowldyke Farm is set in beautiful, quiet, open countryside with uninterrupted views over fields where cattle and sheep graze.

All have double glazing, full central heating, and a patio area.

They are equipped to a high standard.  In the English Tourist Council ratings, they earn 3 and 4 star ratings.  All cottages have a laundry service available.
